General Notes
This is a portrait of Adolphe's oldest brother Ferdinand. (Claude Marie ) He was born in Saint-Etienne on 15th January 1873. He lived for a long time in Lyon where we know that he was twice married, before retiring to Cagnes-sur-Mer on the French Riviera. He died in Nice in 1959.
