I knew I should have listened
When I went to Sunday School
Last night I was reading the Gospel
The Gospel according to John
Then it came to me so plain to see
Where I've been going wrong
It's that man with the beard I need to find
I think he's the Father's son
Who was crucified upon a cross
For the sins of everyone.
