LOWRY and his Legacy Exhibition 13^th June.

The 76 page catalogue for this exhibition is now at the printers and will be sent out next week to clients on the mailing list. It’s going to be a great show. The Lowry works include several important oil paintings and a selection of pencil drawings, including 2 very rare Londonderry drawings. Other show highlights include:

A selection of Adolphe Valette oils including a very rare Manchester Scene.

2 fantastic Theodore Major oils.

5 important, early Geoffrey Key oils, including what is probably the largest one he ever painted.

2 Harry Rutherford Oils.

16 oils and pastels by Braaq – this is the largest number to be shown in an exhibition for some time.

A selection of new works by Liam Spencer, Reg Gardner, Ben Kelly, Phil George and Stephen Campbell.

As usual all works will be available for purchase from receipt of the catalogue and they can be viewed online from next Tuesday. The opening night is on Thursday 13^th June between 6pm and 9pm. Come and join us for a glass of champagne and a canapé (or two).

A Spring Selection - added 13/4/13

Our section of works for spring is now online. Ben Kelly, Reg Gardner, Phil George and Simeon Stafford have all produced new paintings for the show. We also have a selection of paintings by Mary Fedden, including her famous Boxing Day painting. This work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and it's images has been  reproduced on an extensive range of RA merchandise. As usual we will be adding new work on a regular basis so keep checking the website.

Easter Opening Times - added 29/3/12

We are closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday and Monday, but the gallery can be opened by appointment during these times. We are open on Easter Saturday from 10 am - 3pm.
