General Notes
Mary Sara writes:
When two sheep meet do they, like Englishmen, talk first of the weather ? Lost, Silly, meek, straying - is it because the prettiest lambs turn into such plain looking creatures that we feel cheated and make them symbolic scapegoats for human weaknesses ?
They know more than we do because they know enough to survive. We could learn alot from sheep. Settling in the lee of the highest part of the wall, beneath the windswept crest of the moor and away from the draughty gateway, they wait for the first flurries of new snow.
